The SSAX1 sensor head with infrared measuring method<\/strong><\/h3>\n

In addition to the high-quality infrared sensor element and the measuring amplifier, the sensor probe SSAX1 contains a \u00b5Controller<\/strong> for processing the measured values. The IR measuring principle with integrated temperature compensation ensures highest accuracy, selectivity and reliability. All relevant data and measured values of the sensor element are stored fail-safe in the \u00b5Controller and are transmitted digitally via the local bus to the controller or the board (e. g. WSB2).<\/p>\n

A signal output via PWM is also possible as an option. The remote sensor probe with local bus interface can be connected to the board with an standard ATEX cable of 5 m length<\/strong> for evaluation of the measured values. The board is mounted outside the hazardous areas and due to the small design of the sensor probe, the device can be installed almost anywhere.<\/p>\n

Time-saving recalibration<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The calibration management is also integrated in the \u00b5Controller of the sensor head. Calibration can be performed by simply changing the sensor head or by using the integrated, convenient calibration routine directly at the system. This saves time and costs and additionally increases the safety of the system.<\/p>\n
