It is a colourless, odourless and tasteless gas a<span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">nd therefore often remains undetected. At high concentrations it can be lethal.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Gas sensors are used for continuous monitoring of the ambient air and for accurate CO gas measurement.<\/p>\n<p>The sensor head contains:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Electrochemical sensor element<\/li>\n<li>Measuring amplifier<\/li>\n<li>\u03bcController for processing the measured values<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All relevant data and measured values of the sensor element are stored in the \u03bcController in a fail-safe way. Then they are transmitted digitally via the local bus to the Sensor Board (e.g. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.msr-24.com\/ecommerce\/category-browse?category_id=147184\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SB2<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.msr-24.com\/ecommerce\/category-browse?category_id=147144\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MSB2 from MSR-Electronic<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>In the \u03bcController of the sensor the <strong>calibration management<\/strong> is also integrated.\u00a0 Calibration can be carried out by simply <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/T1PRlaQJuEI\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">exchanging the sensor<\/a> or by using the integrated, convenient calibration routine directly on the system.<\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>The DGC-06 gas controller from MSR-Electronic for a reliable CO gas measurement<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The evaluation of the measured values of the gas sensors is carried out via the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.msr-24.com\/ecommerce\/category-browse?category_id=147103\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">DGC-06 controller from MSR<\/a>. It is used for monitoring and warning of toxic and combustible gases and vapours in gas measurement technology. Everything is possible, from complex <a href=\"https:\/\/www.msr-electronic.de\/en\/2020\/08\/10\/car-park-gorica-in-zagreb-uses-co-gas-measurement-technology-from-msr-electronic\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">multi-storey car parks<\/a> to access permissions that are switched by gas alarm.<\/p>\n<p>Up to <strong>128 gas sensors<\/strong>, including 96 digital and\/or 32 analog sensors (4\u201320 mA), the DGC-06 gas controller series can monitor and evaluate .<\/p>\n<p><strong> 4 freely adjustable alarm thresholds<\/strong> are available per sensor. For alarm messages, the controller system has up to 128 relays with potential-free changeover contact and up to 16 analog outputs with 4\u201320 mA signal.<\/p>\n<p>In the case of the Burj Alfardan tower, the <strong>CO gas warning system<\/strong> controls:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Jet fans<\/li>\n<li>Main fresh air fan<\/li>\n<li>Main smoke extraction fans<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>After a CO level of <strong>30 ppm<\/strong> is reached, all jet fans on the affected floors run at low speed only. When the fire alarm is triggered, all fans then run at high speed.<\/p>\n<p>Via<strong> Modbus RTU<\/strong> the system has been connected to the building management system and all graphic details and information are displayed in the SCADA.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>The entire support and installation of the MSR gas alarm system for the CO gas measurement in the Burj Alfardan in Doha was carried out by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.msr-electronic.de\/en\/msr-partner\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MSR partner<\/a><strong> SYSTEMAIR MIDDLE EAST QATAR LLC<\/strong>.
